Updated Bus Open Data Guidance from the DfT

Published by admin on

The DfT published updated guidance for bus operators and local authorities on 11th December. Lots of detailed information has been provided on the new legal requirements that come into force over the next few weeks; we are particularly pleased to see much-needed clarification relating to ‘closed’ school services as this has been a major concern to many smaller operators in recent months.

Elydium is now able to offer a full agency service to any bus operators that require assistance in creating and/or managing their timetables in the new TransXChange PTI Profile required by the Bus Open Data Service. In addition, we are able to offer consultancy and support to operators in setting up real-time SIRI-VM location feeds and preparing NeTEx fare data.
